The High Performance Club (HPC)

Membership of the High Performance Club is dependent on attaining and demonstrating a very high level of road driving skill. This level of driving skill is a worthwhile, learnable, transferable life-skill.

You can have it - if you really want it!

When you have acquired these skills you become eligible to join HPC.

The core values of the High Performance Club are:-

These values permeate everything the Club and its members do. It is no coincidence that the Club are concerned about driving standards. They have taken the initiative to set out expected driving standards at every recognised level within the club.

Members aspire to consistently raise their abilities and have produced stunning documentation defining them at every level. This sets out core competencies together with the observable evidence procedures that demonstrate to anyone that standards have been met.

And there is more.

There are standards for members to aspire to so they can make progress in self-improvement, not only in road driving, but also in track driving, which is increasingly important to many as Britain's roads become more and more congested.

The following two links will take you to the HPC standards documentation set out by the club for entry level and for Honours Three. Honours Three is based around our "Car Control Fundamentals Course". Please be clear that the documentation is not necessary to be able to drive effectively; it is presented for completeness and for those who want more.

NB. Please see the High Performance Club website for the definitive and most up to date text on the HPC Standards.
